Key Features
CW Analog and -V Vector Models
The SSG5000X family includes CW analog generators for clean RF carrier work and -V models for internal I/Q modulation and waveform playback. This avoids overbuying vector capability when only CW, sweep, AM/FM/PM or pulse testing is required.
4 GHz / 6 GHz RF Coverage
Model choices cover 9 kHz to 4 GHz or 6 GHz for RF receiver testing, wireless module validation, education labs, RF component characterisation and production signal-source applications.
Low Phase Noise Carrier
Typical phase noise of −120 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz and 20 kHz offset supports receiver sensitivity testing, LO substitution and RF module troubleshooting where carrier purity matters.
High Output Power
Output power up to +26 dBm typical provides enough level for many component and receiver tests without adding an external RF amplifier.
Analog Modulation and Pulse Options
AM, FM and PM modulation are supported with internal, external or combined sources. Optional single pulse, double pulse and pulse-train functions support radar-style and gated RF tests.
I/Q Waveform Workflows on V Models
The -V versions support internal I/Q modulation, external analog I/Q input and waveform playback for custom IQ, QAM, PSK, ASK, FSK, OFDM and other wireless-signal experiments.
User Flatness Correction
User-programmable flatness correction and USB power-meter correction help compensate cable, fixture and path loss for more controlled RF level delivery at the DUT.
Remote Control for ATE
USB Host, USB Device and LAN interfaces support remote control from automated test systems. GPIB can be added where legacy ATE compatibility is required.
